Question 4: Sharing your work

Which of the other blogs did you find most interesting? Did any of them make you want to watch the film that provided the inspiration for the research? What topics would you like to find out more information about?

  1. Many of the blogs were very interesting. My favorite blog over all was The Great Escape. The format and the artifacts were all very thought out and very interesting! This blog helped me as sort of an outline to help. Another blog was Downfall. This one made me want to learn more about the topic of Hitler.

  2. I found Sam Kern's blog The Great Escape really interesting because it was based on personal events, that were connected to him, and so it wasn't just general facts. It's almost more touching that way. There are some that I wanted to watch the movie due to their inaccurate interrpratation of what happened in the war times. I would like to find out more about what happened in the U.S during the war, and how the people responded.

  3. I found the blogs; Boy in Striped Pajamas, and Flowers of the War to be very interesting. Both made me want to watch the movies and learn more about the topic, flowers of the war was especially eye opening because I knew very little about what happened in Japan during the war as a whole, much less all the horrific things described in the blog. Boy in the striped pajamas I had heard of before, but I still want to know more about what it was like for children in concentration camps.

  4. The Pianist was well exicuted, and very visualy apealing. The blog is easy to navigate and the articales were very intersesting and well written

  5. The blog that I found most interesting was "The Flowers Of The War". I never knew that there was a massacre in Nanking. By reading this blog, it helped me see how war can turn people into animals. How someone can completely disregard the gift of life. It is hard to wrap my head around the fact that people could kill, let alone TORTURE babies. Innocent men, women, and children were killed for no reason. Children, the picture of innocence, were being killed off like pests. This blog makes me want to watch the movie. I would like to find more information about all the massacres that happened during WW2.

  6. There were some outstanding blogs posted, some that really caught my eye were The Longest Day and Grave of the Fireflies. These blogs were the two I found to be not only the most interesting, but they made me want to watch the films. Both blogs seemed to understand the project well and did a great job of embodying the voice aspect of this project.

  7. Some other blogs that i enjoyed where 'The Longest day' , 'From Ghandi to Hitler' and 'Escape to Victory'. I have been wanting to see Escape to victory For a while, i just haven't gotten around to it. On the blog 'From Ghandi to Hitler', they make comparisons of the two. I think i would also like to see this movie. I just want to know what people were thinking with Hitler in office...i know that Hitler said he was going to make everything better, and pull them out of turmoil.. but come on! some of the stuff he did was pretty shady! didn't anyone have a clue? Some thing i want to learn more about is Hitler's life, and what he was thinking when he started all of this. Why jews? why not any other religion? I just need to see his viewpoint (even though its been established that he is crazy).

  8. I found that the blogs Attack on Leningrad, Stalingrad, and The Great Escape were well put together, and their overall presentation caught my interest in seeing the films. The artifacts and stories that they told were very interesting, and they all seemed very exciting and action- filled. These blogs have already motivated me to see these movies, and do more research on the battles at Stalingrad and Leningrad, and look into stories of concentration camp escapees.

  9. I loved all the blogs but my favorite was Wind Rises. I really wanted to see the film before the blog but the blog made me want to see it even more. I want to see more topics on plane engineers.

  10. I enjoyed Flowers of the War because it really captured what the times were like. I also liked Grave of the Fireflies because it is a visually stunning movie.

  11. the topics i would like to find out more about are details of action. For example i would like to find out more about details of war products and weapons as well as vehicles. Like what type of weapons? long range, short range, grenades? did they even use melee weapons like swords? or any explosives other than grenades? if not or if so, which armies used them? and certain weapons like snipers, were they even in existence yet? these things are what i would love to find out.

  12. I enjoyed the blog The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. I liked how through all the artifacts she told a story in everyone. I also liked her object that she talked through.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I enjoyed looking at Jacob Mouser's blog about The Bridge On The River Kwai because it shows some really amazing items and artifacts that were either shown in the movie or in reality.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I really liked the blog about "Fury" because it as very inserting and fun to read. I really want to learn more about the tanks and really everything about that topic and I really want to watch the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I enjoyed The Longest Day, the set-up of the blog was very easy to follow and the story behind the artifacts was great. I would be interested in watching the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I loved the blog "Unbroken." I was in love with the format of the blog, the color choices and the information that was provided for each picture. They way the person described the movie makes me want to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I enjoyed the blog about "Fury" because the story was very clever. It made me want to know more about tanks and to see the movie for myself to see how good it is.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I found "Hitler: The Last Ten Days" the most interesting. It definitely made me want to watch the film. I would like to find out more information about what actually happened during Hitler's last ten days.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I found "Grave of the Fireflies" to be very interesting. The artifacts came from a variety of media resources, including film and photography. Her execution in telling the story, displaying primary documents, and designing her blog was great. It made for a stunning blog, and it inspires me to learn more of Kobe, Japan. It also made me want to watch the movie. She had mentioned that it was an animation, and that sounds so intriguing! I wish to learn more about the roles Nazi soldiers had in WWII, and their lives before and after the war.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I found "The Great Escape" to be very interesting. I loved how one of the artifacts was very personal to him. I also loved the reason on why he picked the movie because of one of the family members. He was able to tell the real story within only 20 artifacts. I would want to watch the movie in order to see the comparison between the real and false facts of the events that occur for myself.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I found the blog on "The Great Escape" most interesting and compelling because the information came across so well and I think that topic was very cool to learn about. I could tell the writer also had a personal connection with the topic which made it even more heartfelt. I definitely want to watch that film so I can see where all of the information came from and the comparisons. I am also curious to know even more information about a couple other topics that I am not as familiar with such as Stalingrad and Iwo Jima.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The blog I found most interesting is the "Attack On Leningrad." This blog makes me want to watch the movie because it has such an interesting story line, one that involves dancing - a passion of mine. The blog talks about a young man dancing in a ballet school, hoping to become a professional dancer. But the young man has to go to war. I would want watch the movie to know if it tells about how his family feels about their son being a dancer. I want to know about his experience in the war. Since this was a true story, I'd want to research these questions if the movie doesn't explain them.

  23. I thought Sam’s blog “The Great Escape” was pretty interesting. He had a variety of artifacts. It was very intriguing that he was related to someone who fought in the war. I will definitely find some time to watch his film! Also, I was very impressed by Kealy’s blog “Defiance”. The overall layout and artifacts were much excelled. I would like to learn more about life of the average person of Japan during this time. Also, the average days of different soldiers.

  24. I really liked the look of the pianist. First off, it had someone, I'm guessing the main character playing or showing that, that person was playing piano in the background. I liked the pictures showing specific facts about this movie. I'm pretty sure that this pianist was struggling to get his music out there during war, let me see more of that struggle.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The blog that I found most interesting was the blog entitled “Unbroken”. I like this blog because the layout of the blog was very cool; for example the background was pictures that related to the movie, which I thought was cool. From the artifacts on the blog and further research I found out that the story “Unbroken” was about a man who turned his life around by becoming a famous runner then to get drafted into the army. Then the movie continued by talking about his horrific experiences in the army. I feel like this movie could definitely show me WWII in a realistic way and teach me about the hardships of the war and that is why I want to watch it so badly! Another blog that caught my attention was based on the movie called “The Flowers Of The War”. This blog caught my attention simply because I thought the title was interesting. After looking at the blog I saw some horrific pictures that showed me how World War II was a horrible time. I honestly don’t want to watch the movie now because I feel like it would be too intense for me, but don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed the blog. After looking at this blog I really want to learn more about Japanese soldiers because the blog showed me how cruel they really are and I would like to research more about them. Overall all the blogs were really great and I enjoyed reading them.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The blog that I was inspired by was Stalingrad. First, I found that the layout was very intriguing and made me want to read more. I also thought that it was clever of the author, Megan Carlson, to write from a hat's point of view. This made it clearer for me to understand the story because a hat sees everything! Many of her artifacts very well demonstrated the leisurely activities of the troops like playing cards, drinking wine, and smoking cigars. This was a nice contrast to the very bloody event and made it more interesting. It was fun to compare my film with hers because they both resulted in a very morbid outcome as well as some of the most casualties and deaths in World War Two. I am very interested in watching Stalingrad because I think it will give me more knowledge on the personal lives of the U.S. military and how they relieve themselves after their long days in battle.

  27. I found two blogs very interesting. One of them is Millions like Us. It was from a perspective of a factory in which the women were working. Also how propaganda was used to persuade women opinion into working in the factories during WWII. This made me think about how women have evolved from the throughout the years. I would watch this film to receive strength and encouragement and see how women are as capable as men. Another blog is From Gandhi to Hitler. It was really cool how Gandhi helped India during the war. It blew my mind how someone could stand up so bravely and he just inspires me. This is a film I definitely will watch this on my spare time.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I really enjoyed the blog on The Big Red One because the way the captions added to the images made me wonder how the the film was portrayed. the artifacts in the blog were all interesting and the one that stood out was the bunkers, i just thought this was an interesting artifact to use.

    ReplyDelete
  29. A blog i really enjoyed was "The Pianist", The blog made me want to see the movie because they provided pictures and other things as artifacts. The whole blog is designed very well and things are easy to read.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Every blog posted was well made, but the one that I appreciated most was 'Grave of the Fireflies'. I myself, watched this film when I was younger, and I was overjoyed to see someone do the movie justice.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The blogs for Days of Glory (2006) and Boy in the Stripped Pajamas I found very interesting. I have not yet seen the movies from the blogs but they were still very well done. From reading the blog Grave of Fireflies I would like to learn more about the bombing in Japan.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I enjoyed a lot of the blogs but my favorite was Army of Shadows. I wasn't very familiar with The French Resistance but I found the topic very interesting. Also, I thought it was very clever to make the narrating inanimate object a cyanide pill, it was humorous in a twisted way. From reading this blog I would really like to watch Army of Shadows and learn more about The French Resistance.

    ReplyDelete
  33. One of the blogs I found interesting was the Fat Man an Little Boy blog by hwaskowitz. It made me interested in watching her movie (probably due to the fact it is about atomic bombs). I'd like to find out more about topics like friendly fire (maobheil's blog).

    ReplyDelete
  34. A lot of the blogs were very interesting , but the blog that I found the most interesting was "From Ghandi to Hilter". After reading this blog it did make me want to watch the movie. Another reason I want to watch the movie now is because the person who made the blog told me that the movie was good. I would like to found out more about close combat.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I very much enjoyed the blog "Empire of the Sun". It was on an interesting movie that I had never herd of. I think it would be a good movie to watch and the blog really inspired me. It is an interesting topic that I think would make good movie.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I enjoyed the blog "Boy in the Striped Pajamas,". It was very visually appealing and the design really went along with the film. The blog made me want to learn more about what it was like for children in concentration camps during WWII.

    ReplyDelete
  37. There were two blogs that I found endearing for different reasons. Visually, Grave of the Fireflies was exceptionally well done. The author picked captivating artifacts that told stories even without the captions. In terms of writing quality, the most gripping captions were from the Tin Drum. The perspective of a child's journal added a needed personal aura that made the project stand out. My interest now in watching the Tin Drum stemmed from the blog, as has my eagerness to learn more about Japan's role in World War II and the impact of the war on its population. While I believe that all of the blogs were effective for different reasons, these two blogs highlighted the purpose of the project in my eyes.

  38. After seeing the blog for Imitation Game, I'm really interested in seeing the film. It wasn't a story most people were as aware of as the popular topic of "The Holocaust". And understanding the past as best we can is one step more to mending the present and future. The story of Alan Turing is such an incredible story in and of itself, though. He helped so many lives, while facing his own personal issues. I would like to learn more about the childrens lives as the war was occurring or progressing. Not the orphans, but the children who went on with going to school, and living ther lives while the war was just happening in the background. particularly younger, as they probably had no clue what was going on and were maybe scared and confused.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The blog that I liked was Hitler:The Last Ten Days. Seeing how Hitler being defeated was reflected in the last days of his life was kinda weird but thats why it caught my attention. Most people know that Hitler was horrible and so on and so forth but what Hitler was like after he did all those terrible things nobody really knows about except him commiting suicide

    ReplyDelete
  40. I found Ashley Muench’s blog on A Bridge Too Far was most interesting. She made me want to watch the movie because her writing was so descriptive. I would watch it even though it’s all about these “important” men who had too much money; they ran our government and sent thousands of men off to do their dirty work, not caring of they come back alive or not. I would like to find more information about how the men were treated after they came home from the war. Were they well cared for? Did they get compensation? And how did they suffer from PTSD?

    ReplyDelete
  41. The blogs that I found most interesting were "The Pianist", "Boy in striped Pajamas", "The Great Escape" and "Grave of the Fireflies". I found these most interesting because mainly of the blogs' background. The ones that related to the titles really drew my eyes. I also liked them because the artifacts told me more about the topic and I could actually learn from them. I watched and read the Boy in Striped Pajamas but this blog gave me a new view on the topic. I'd also want to see Grave of the Fireflies because that one drew me in alot.

    ReplyDelete
  42. The blogs I found the most interesting were Unbroken and The Boy With The Striped Pajamas. The two blogs pulled me in. I caught myself making up the scenes in my head. I'd definitely love to watch these movies. I'd like to learn more about tensions between the Soviet Union and the U.S.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I thouroughly enjoyed "The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas'' and ''The Flowers of War'' I thought they were both beautifully constructed. I actually would like to watch both of those movies. I find that reading through some of the blogs that history can be very fun to learn about and research when it is a very deep topic.I would like to find out about more people who have gone into hiding during that time in the war, and also the other parts of the world I would like to learn about there world war 2 stories.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Some of the other blogs that I felt were interesting were "Life is Beautiful", "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" and "Catch 22". I admired these blogs because I felt like they truly connected to the heartbreaking topic of war and displayed interesting artifacts to support their captions. After reading through these blogs, it made me want to watch the films to understand the full story. I would like to find more information about how the prisoners escaped from labor camps and if they succeeded and how the British were treated in Japanese war camps and if it was similar to what actually took place in real life.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I thought all the blogs were good and looked as if it Took a lot of time and effort. But my favorite would have to be the flower of war. It had many interesting artifacts which were captioned very well. Because this blog was so graphic it pulled me even more into it. The title is so much different than the things that you would think would probably happen in the movie. Which makes it ten times better. And Karen showed that very well. She had me drawn in instantly

    ReplyDelete
  46. I like the pianist because it reminds me of my great grandpa that escaped a camp, but he was different for the rest of his life.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The blog I found interesting was Diary of Anne Frank just because I have always been interested in the story. Also I liked Downfall it made me want to learn more about Hitler and his personal story.

    ReplyDelete
  48. After viewing many of the blogs, the blog that really caught my eye, was "The Book Thief." I really enjoyed how the author put it in the perspective of death. It really made me want to watch the film to see how the perspective corresponds with the film. I don't believe that there will be anything more that i will want to look into, if i watch all the films. Each film explains their topic very well and reading the blog's also helps me gain information on certain topics.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The blog that I found interesting was "Devils Arithmetic". I personally really like learning about the Holocaust and things of that nature, so I really wanted to watch that film. And this blog really dug deep into what it was really like for the Jews. It makes me want to learn more about an individual that survived the conditions of the concentration camps. Nice job Trinity. :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. My favorite blogs were Stalingrad and Hangmen Also Die because they were nice to look at, provided good artifacts and information and the topics looked interesting. I would like to watch both films and also The Wind Rises, they seemed like good movies to watch. I would like to learn more about how and if the war affected South American and other North American countries.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I found the blog, "Army of Shadows" to be very interesting. Even before reading through it, I could tell that a lot of work had been put into it. I was instantly drawn in and I now have the urge to watch the film. The blog is written from the point of view of a cyanide pill, which I find to be a very unique choice. This blog really stood out to me and now has me wondering a little bit more about the prisoners who were arrested during the time.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The blog I found most interesting was The Tin Drum because it talked about the children not just adults. A lot of the blogs I saw made me want to watch the movie they based them on. The blogs covered a lot so I don't think I need to look anything else up

    ReplyDelete
  53. One of the blogs that I found to be very interesting was the blog about the film, Saints and Soldiers. I thought the way the inanimate object POV was used was very interesting and how it flowed so well between each artifact, like a story. It really made me interested in the film making me want to watch it. I would like to find more information about the Malmedy Massacre.

    ReplyDelete
  54. My favorite blog was The Longest Day. I enjoyed the hook in the intro, that really made me want to watch the movie. I loved how each artifact was in first person, but still provided a lot information. Each definitely made me more interested in Normandy.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The blog that intrigued me the most was "The Longest Day." It was told from the view point of a house and really explained what it was feeling and what happened in the artifacts eyes. It made me want to watch the movie because i want to see what happened and how I feel about the film as well.

    ReplyDelete
  56. All of the blogs are outstanding and intersting. My favorite blog was "The boy in the stripe pajamas." I find that my favorite because it shows you the feelings in the characters. I watched the movie and it pulled me in in other words its a very good movie, it made me want to sit down and pay close attention to it. I want to know more of what happened to the children in the concentration camps and how harsh it was.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I found the blogs "Army of Shadows" and "Flowers on the Wind" to both be very intriguing and well executed. The presentation and overall story that was depicted in "Army of Shadows" was thrilling and made me want to learn more about the French Resistance. I find the topic very exciting and love to see when two movies (Army of Shadows, and To Have and Have Not) to cover the same topic and both give off a different story showing how subjective art can be. I find "Flowers on the Wind" to be a film that opened my eyes covering a topic in which I knew nothing about, and while it is horribly gruesome, it does make me wish to see the film itself and learn more about the massacre in Nanking.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Some of the other blogs that I found most interesting was The Tin drum and Millions Like Us. I found both of these blogs very well done in the fact that they both had very interesting pictures to go with the movie, and great descriptions to go with the pictures that they had. These blogs made me want to see more about their topic and even watch the movies they had in their blog. A specific topic I would like to learn about is how women contributed to the war which was actually somewhat related to the blog Millions Like Us. So I will have to see that movie.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Flowers of the War was very interesting to me because the blog showed aspects of WWII that most people don't think of. I would like to know more about the massacres in china.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I found the "The Great Escape" blog to be the most interesting since there are family photos with the soldier and since it goes into detail about the life of the soldier as someone we can think about who was actually in the war but is still alive, and I think that helps people to realize that the war took place relatively recently. I would like to learn more about the different aspects of life of the prisoners while in the camp and after.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Some of the film titles really grabbed my attention and made me want to take a look at their blogs but honestly out of all the blogs I looked at none of them really stood out to me. Yes, they were all very nice and very well written but their was nothing out of the ordinary that really caught my attention on any of the blogs I looked through so I don't really have a favorite one. I would like to see "What did you do in the war, Daddy?" because the title really grabs my attention. It seems like a film I would like. I would like to find out more about a lot of topics. I cant really think of any right now but there's just so many things I would love to learn about.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I found the blog about Desert Fox interesting. What particularly caught my attention was how the commander for Hitler by the name of Rommel treated everyone equally. He refused to execute the Allied POW and provided them with food rations equal to that of his own. If fighting war isn’t difficult enough, fighting in the desert is even harder. This is what seems interesting about this topic. I would like to know more information about other battles that took place during WWII to develop a better understanding of the war in general, specifically multiple viewpoints.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I like the blog "The boy in the Striped Pajamas". I had already enjoyed the movie before we had even started these blogs. I would like to find out more about how the other people didn't know that the Nazis were killing the others everytime they were given "baths".

    ReplyDelete
  64. A blog I enjoyed was the "emperor" it was very interesting to see the blog but no I didn't watch the movie

    ReplyDelete
  65. A blog I enjoyed was the "emperor" it was very interesting to see the blog but no I didn't watch the movie

    ReplyDelete
  66. I really enjoyed the blog " Monuments Men". I think it's really interesting how and where they would find the stolen artwork. I also really enjoyed how they included some other facts like how they communicated with each other when they were searching. I would like to find out more about how the Nazis stole the art without getting caught.

    ReplyDelete
  67. One of the most interesting blogs I have come across is "The Flowers Of The War". When I read this blog, I really saw how normal people can throw away their lives and just turn into savage animals. Just the ruthlessness of the whole thing. How easily they killed innocent people. I would definitely want to see this movie. I would also want to learn more information about other massacres that took place in this time.

    ReplyDelete
  68. In reading Defiance's movie reflection blog, I became intrigued with the group of brothers and their story of hiding from the nazis in their time of peril. The well written descriptions and portraits really portrayed me to view this film, not only does the plot sound intriguing, but the poster for the movie looks kind of rebellious, defiant even, so yes, I would enjoy viewing this movie.I would like to learn more about their time in their hiding.

    ReplyDelete
  69. My favorite was The Pianist, partially because that was my original choice of film, but also because of the way the blog is composed. The artifacts make the movie sound interesting. I plan on watching it soon.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I didn't look at many of the other blogs so I don't have an opinion on the things that I've never seen, and the ones that I looked at, like the Wind Rises and Grave of the Fireflies, I've already seen before. If i could i would want to know all of the information on WW2 that has ever existed, but i don't have that kind of time or patience.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I found "The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas" very interesting. I've heard about the movie and book being sad. But I never really knew what the story was about it. Nora did a great job explaining it in her artifacts. I would love to learn more about the children in concentration camps and I would love to watch the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I found The Great Escape blog the most interesting because it not only gave examples of specific events, it included personal feelings, events, and memories. I enjoyed learning about the information given in this blog like his family members experience. It was easier to connect with using the personal connections. I would like to watch The Great Escape to compare it to what actually happened in World War II.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I liked the blogs "Stalingrad" and "The Pianist".The blogs as a whole were very informative but still what the movie would imply them to be. I will admit the look of the blog was what most pulled me in, on any blog really, because I tend to skim over information more than I should and blank template presentation will most likely disinterest me very fast. If I had the time I would want to watch all of the movies that were picked, mostly because I like movies, but also after seeing everyone's work it would be neat to see the Hollywood versions of WWII events. I would actually want to research my own topic even more. The topic I picked was very broad and I overestimated the resources and abilities I have, I want to find out more about Czech underground resistance and what other efforts beside Heydrich's attempted assassination were in place against Nazi power in Czechoslovakia.

    ReplyDelete
  74. My favorite blogs are "Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence", "Hangmen Also Die!", and "What Did You Do In The War Daddy?".Between the three blogs , I would like to watch the movie "Hangmen Also Die!". I would like to find out more about Reinhard Heydrich.

    ReplyDelete
  75. The blogs I enjoyed most were: Emperor, Flowers of the War, From Gandhi To Hitler, and Millions Like Us and I'd really like to see them all.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I thought The Wind Rises was a very interesting blog. I loved the images that were chosen to represent the artifacts and the way the story was told in the captions.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I found Namaste's blog very interesting and made me very interested i the film. I would love to find out more about the Japanese in WWII

    ReplyDelete
  78. I really liked the blogs for the movies "What Did You Do in the War, Daddy?" and "Jakob the Liar." I think the people who made those blogs understood the project really well. Their artifacts and captions were interesting and told a story, which made me interested in the movies. I think that it would be interesting to find out more about the invasion of Sicily, which was the topic of "What Did You Do in the War, Daddy?" I haven't learned much about that topic so it would be fun to learn about.

  80. I found http://scpafromheretoeternity.blogspot.com/ quite interesting, since I had no idea what soilders did for fun back in the day. None of the amazing blogs made me want to go out and watch the film they based their work on.
I would like to learn more about comparisons between now and then.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I found Letters From Iwo Jima to be an interesting blog which I originally decided to look at because of its topic being related to Japan, like my blog. I would watch Letters From Iwo Jima especially to compare it to the movie my work is based from. I would like to find out more about the advances in technology during the war to what technology we use now, I'd also, in general, would like to find out more about the different sides in the war besides those in the axis and allied powers. It'd be interesting to see how smaller nations were impacted and how they took part.

  82. I found kbeckner's blog for "The Wind Rises" looked to be such an interesting topic and I would love to watch the movie and see how it expands on the technological advamces present at that time. Airplanes are also just really really cool. I would like to find out the process that the planes went through to be built. Who was the primary work force for the these operations based on the country?

  84. There were so many blogs that I loved, and that interested me. I wish I could list them all, but that would take forever. But a few of them are "From Ghandi to Hitler" , "Sophie Scholls", "Flowers of the War", and "Fat Man and Little Boy". These blogs had very interesting information in them, that I was very intrigued by. Each blog, made me want to search more into the artifacts behind them. I also visually loved the set up, and writing behind each one.
